Dr. Neelan Pillay

MBBCh(wits), FCOG(cmsa),MMed(wits),Masters Human reproductions(spain)(cumlaude),Certificate in Reproductive Medicine(cmsa)(cumlaude)

Dr Neelan is a Specialist Gynaecologist and Sub-specialist in Reproductive medicine and Endocrine. He has been an Obstetrician Gynaecologist for 11 years, and he is registered with the Health Professional Council and the College of Medicine of South Africa as a reproductive medicine sub-specialist.

He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Witwatersrand in 2003. He then went on to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and completed his training in 2010. After this, he did a formal 2-year Sub-specialization at the University of Pretoria and passed his exams at the College of Medicine of South Africa with Cum-laude. During this time, he also completed his Masters in the Biotechnology of Human reproduction through Valencia, Spain.

Dr Pillay has studied extensively locally and abroad (India, France, Turkey and Spain) to offer his patients the best possible treatments. He strives to provide excellence in the care of his patients in a compassionate, caring, kind and honest manner.

Dr Neelan is married and a father to 3 lovely girls.

Dr. Wynand van Tonder

Dr. Wynand E. van Tonder is a specialist gynaecologist and obstetrician specialising in reproductive medicine and endoscopic surgery based  at The HOPE Clinic at Sandton Mediclinic, Bryanston, Johannesburg.

Dr van Tonder obtained his undergraduate training at the University of Stellenbosch and then went on to obtain his specialistion in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Free State.

Due to his passion and feeling a deep need to help childless couples fulfill their dreams and prayers to be parents, Dr. van Tonder pursued further training where he achieved his Masters Degree in Biotechnology of Human Assisted Reproduction and Embryology through the IVI Institute Valencia, Spain.

Dr. van Tonder has a special interest in the management of all stages of endometriosis.  This proved his passion when he achieved a 100% for his thesis while obtaining his Masters Degree in in Valencia, Spain on the topic “The management options of Endometriosis in infertility”

He further went on to obtain fellowships specializing in endoscopic surgery through the institute IRCAD, based in France.

With his comprehensive knowledge and training as a specialist, he has helped many patients seeking the wonderful journey of parenthood to become a reality.

Dr. Gaontebale Onthatile Matlhaga

Dr GO Matlhaga is a Gynaecology Fellow of the Colleges of Medicine SA, with a Certificate in Human Reproduction and Endocrine. He obtained his MBChB degree in UKZN in 2002, FCOG (SA) in 2011 and a sub speciality Certificate in Reproductive Medicine in 2020. He is also a Council member of the South African Society of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists since 2016

He has been in private practice in Johannesburg from 2011 and has the following interests and competencies: Fertility Medicine (Assisted Reproductive Techniques); Ovulation Induction; Intrauterine Insemination (IUI); IVF/ ICSI Cycles; Egg & Sperm freezing – fertility preservation; Oncofertility – fertility preservation; Minimal Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy); Adolescence and Contraception; Endometriosis; Menopause; Female Endocrinology; Osteoporosis and general Gynaecology.
